The Restorative Journal: What It Is and Why You Need It!

According to Merriam-Webster, Journaling is the act of keeping a personal journal, to enter or record daily thoughts, experiences, etc., in a journal. How many of us have taken the time to do this? Between work and busy home life it can be a task in itself to make time for the most important person in your life–yourself. Journaling can be a difficult act to begin, but once you start it can be one of the most  beneficial tools that helps with grounding, achieving your goals, reducing stress and so much more!

Our Restorative Journal is a labor of love with those who are stressed, burnout, tired and need assistance putting themselves and their goals first in mind. We’ve curated this journal from personal experience. Our small but mighty team is composed of Black Women who have been through many walks of life, experiences, loses and wins. The pandemic showed us that Self-Care is no longer a practice that is optional in our lives, it is a need. Self-Care can come in many different forms, and we want to help you find the best way to take care of yourself and your feelings. Inside this Restorative Journal is over four weeks worth of habit-building, goal-setting, and understanding-of-self material. Throughout this journey of self-exploration, this journal will be a guide and a tool to assist you in understanding how to restore yourself and continue to build healthy habits. 

Doing this work isn't easy and oftentimes we get asked if there's a guide to help tackle tough situations and navigate feelings, while also implementing self-care. This is it. This is the tool and resource you need. We’re so excited to release this journal very soon! You’ll be able to physically have it in your hands to do the work that will not only elevate yourself, but how you navigate life. This season seems like YOU season friend. Self-care is not selfish. When you’re a better you, you’re a better person to the ones around you.
