3 Resources you need to be a better YOU this season!
Happy September friends! As we enter a new month, I know a lot of us like to self reflect on the things we did in the past 30 days. What went well? What could’ve been better? What do I want to avoid at all costs so it doesn’t happen again next month!? We completely understand.
This month let's focus on the positives that can happen. What new recipes can I learn? What new album am I going to blast every morning? How am I going to prioritize myself more this month? Anything that brings you joy–Do them. But first, we must ground ourselves. Oftentimes we are bothered, stressed, tired and have no idea what the root cause is. With hectic lives, it can be a lingering question in your mind, “what’s making me so upset”, and having a lack of time to process doesn't help. Having clarity on what is going on in your life and how it affects you is very important. That’s why we have 3 resources that will help ground you and allow you to gain more insight and clarity, so you can strive to be your best self this month!
Stress Test: This simple test provided by Be Mindful can be used to measure the stress you have in your life . Whether it's from work, home, or even socially, this test is great to find out how much stress you actually do have in your life at the moment. With this information you can be more strategic in the areas of your life that do cause you the most stress.
Wellness Test: This wellness test along with a wellness wheel are perfect resources that help you break down the 7 dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual. This assessment will help you figure out which dimension you need to focus on the most to then be able to create an action plan! 3. Restorative Journal: Of course we had to plug in our own helpful resource! Our Restorative Journal is the perfect tangible tool to have this season.
