5 Amazing Things We Accomplished Last Year!

As we begin this new year, I must take a moment and share with you all the biggest Thank You from the bottom of my heart. This year has come with many blows from losing 3 students, experiencing a month-long stalking/cyber hack, to suffering from Covid after extensive travel doing the work we love. Through all of this you all have been here checking in, sending soup, sending cards/emails on grief, and loving us in the best ways on some of our hardest days and for that I am eternally grateful. It’s also been a huge delight to share in your wins from new jobs, to new babies, marriages, awards, and the like. So to everyone reading this I am choosing to share with you all first some of our biggest wins of the year.

1. We grew our firm to the largest it's been to date, we have 4 full time employees on payroll, and a team of 30 contracted facilitators, we've done work in 8 states bringing more awareness to anti-racism, restorative practices, teacher a wellness, and social emotional learning. Thank you for sharing what we do with the people in your circles. It's grown us beyond our wildest dreams.

2. We got our very own office. Of course Kim decorated it super cute, and we’ve finally been able to rid our homes of our business and have more balance. Shout out to Kim who one day may leave me to join some design team on HGTV.

3. We became an International Consulting Firm. When St. Croix called, we ran. The work we did was life-changing, we were in classrooms daily coaching teachers on classroom culture, and we’re eager to return. Shout out to Lift Consulting for teaching us how to write a good RFP and taking us under your wing to do this work.

4. We gave away 40k in charitable donations. We give back because we wouldn’t be here without people who supported us. It also feels really dope as a Black Women Owned Business to be able to share our blessings. Thank you to everyone who’s ever given to us, know we don’t take it lightly. Also know we will always give it back to the people!

5. This year we hit a huge sales Milestone, we are now a Million Dollar Firm. Year 1 was our Beta Year, we existed for 4 months and made about $4,000 and were so proud at the time, because it proved we could build and see a thing through that had value. In the last 3 years since then we’ve made up the difference, and are elated to have this goal that we set in January. Being a Million Dollar firm is truly because of you all, because it started with your belief in us to do the thing and taking that belief and sharing it with others, so thank you. Your referrals are so meaningful in our story, for us they're an extension of trust in us and the work we do.
