3 Ways To End The Year Off Strong!

It’s officially December friends! Where did the time go? It’s been a long year with many losses, tragedies and even bad news. However, there have also been so many wins, new opportunities, and amazing news!

Usually at the end of the year we start to think about next year and all of our new goals, new ideas and new ways of thinking. But how about the stuff we thought of this year? And the wins, feelings and emotions that we dealt with. Does it all just disappear? Let’s not forget about the things we set out to achieve this year and the emotions that came with it. It’s good to reflect so we can be intentional in the new year as well. Here’s some ways we can end this year off on an intentional note!

  1. Think about the goals you set out for yourself this year. Did you achieve them? If so, that’s great! If not, that’s still fine. Is it something that can be continued on to next year? Being intentional is also about knowing when to let something go for the betterment of ourselves, and when to continue certain things. Oftentimes we get caught up in the deadlines we make for ourselves in our head. Know that you can achieve all the things on your own time.

  2. Reflect on your mental status. How did we feel this year? Making sure we are kind to ourselves as the year ends is crucial. We went to give ourselves grace for everything we've been through, and be grateful that we made it to the end. Be proud of yourself for making it this far friend! Though it may have not been easy, you pushed through. And that is worth all the recognition and praise.

  3. Relax. It was a long year. You are deserving of rest! Make sure you have some time for yourself and for the people you love. Having that down time as we end the year off will definitely allow you to finish the year off on a calm note.

We hope all of you end your your year strong and intentional! Let us know in the comments what you’re most proud of accomplishing this year! We would love to know so we can give you all your flowers!!!
