Meet our New Intern, Naraffy Regis
BIG things are happening around here. So much so that we had to bring on additional support. We are so excited to introduce you all to the amazing gem that is Naraffy Regis who is our Customer Relations & Marketing Intern. She is a recent GSU grad, and we are hoping by this short read you get acquainted with our newest team member.
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hi everyone, I’m Naraffy Regis! A recent graduate of Georgia State University, with a bachelor's degree in Journalism. I hail from South Atlanta and my passion in life is writing. I love writing articles and digital content, but my favorite way to express myself is through original stories and poems.
How did you hear about the position and what interested you about joining the Restore More team?
I learned about Restore More through Handshake, a website that connects college students with jobs, internships and many more opportunities. When I saw the internship position and read just what Restore More was all about, I had to apply! The determination they have to restore the lives of children and adults through the importance of self awareness and mental health was amazing to me. (And the fact that it’s run by two black women was the icing on the cake!)
How do you hope to contribute? gain?
I hope to contribute my writing and creativity skills, and as well as my ability to learn about all the things that they are willing to teach. I feel like having someone on your team that is always there to help and is willing to be a student of all things is so important. I would love to be that extra person they can rely on. What I hope to gain from this opportunity is the knowledge Claudine and Kimberlie have from running a business. From the digital content and social media posts, to the connecting with clients and making an impact to the community.
What are three things people are surprised to learn about you?
I’m Haitian! Both of my parents were immigrants from Haiti, and moved to America for a better way of living. I am proud to be a first-generation college graduate.
I love anything animated. From TV shows to movies, I enjoy anything that has cartoons.
I love traveling! My most recent trip was to Paris, and it is everything you read and hear about this wonderful place.
