1. It allows you to TEACH your content, but not be physically present

You can pre-record your content, so that people get the YOU experience without you having to give up your time. I love to integrate my slide deck and then add audio or video files of me actually breaking down the concepts. This sounds complicated, but actually there are some really great user friendly platforms that make it easy. After a ton of research, conversations with customers, and trial and error with each I’d like to share my two favorites.

2. You can create another stream of revenue

Most millionaires have 6-7 streams of income. If financial freedom or generational wealth is a goal of yours, this is a great way to create another stream of revenue that’s automated. While building the course can take some time (Occasional Focus: 2-3 months Hyper Focus: 1-2 weeks) once it’s available to the public there isn’t much you have to do. I mean literally. I get emails saying a sale was made, and that’s the extent of it, because the funds are automatically transferred to my business account. I literally launch and watch!

3. You can position yourself as an expert on a topic

If you have a ton of knowledge on a particular topic, I’m talking expert level 10,000 hours of study or experience, consider launching an online course. It positions you as an expert on that issue. Just think, what do people often come to you for? What do they need your help with? What are you good at and knowledgeable about?

4. Grow Your Clientele

The benefit of posting your content on a Teachable or Thinkific is that your offering is shared to their database which is over 6 million people each and growing. This means you get access to a bunch of potential students/clients that you may have never known otherwise had you just put the course up on your own website.

5. Help More People

Obviously impact is key, so by creating an online course you open up the doors to help far more people than you could if you only did in person offerings. By helping more people you get to have a larger impact. The cool thing is there are literally courses on everything for example:
